The Cellar Wines
A wine cellar is a storage room for wine in bottles or barrels.
Best conditions for your wine cellar
Temperature:
The ideal temperature is 51-54 °F (11-12 °C)
Note: at any temperature between 50-57 °F (10-14 °C) your wines will age normally. Even more, any temperature between 41-64 °F (5-18 °C) is acceptable. However, avoid temperature variations at all cost. Your cellar temperature needs stability. Of course, a wine at 64 °F (18 °C) will mature faster than one at the ideal temperature.
Light:
Light is the wine enemy, artificial and natural lights. Keep your cellar dark.
Bottle storage:
Store your bottle on the horizontal. The cork needs to be in constant contact with the wine to keep humid. Humidity also helps cork to avoid been dry and let’s air penetrate inside the bottle to affect the wine.
